Re: GGG v Kell Brook
Everyone seems to be talking up Brook's chances here, GGG is the most feared man in boxing bar none.

Even more so than the pre prison Mike Tyson. A middleweight division teaming with talent and only a welter weight is ready to step in.

Eubank swerved the fight but got alot of publicity for it in doing so & for someone who's at British level only he's well known (of course of his old man also).

GGG in the 6th knockout

Re: GGG v Kell Brook
GGG wanted to avoid kell, he went for Saunders then Eubanks then had to go for kell. Out of them 3 kell is the most polished accurate boxer with the best chance of beating GGG. C'mon Brook

Re: GGG v Kell Brook
Laing was so talented but genuinely fucking nuts would be closer to the truth. Years ago he would occasionally use the same snooker club as me in hackney. Always off his face and totally deranged.

As for Brook stranger things have happened as Brook is no mug but it would be a major shock. GGG just doesn't appear to have any weaknesses as a fighter that anyone has been capable of exploiting, or hanging around long enough to exploit. However it's boxing and people at Brook's level always have a chance. He has a much bigger chance though of getting a hammering which I hope he can avoid. It does worry me as much as anything else that he's only fought once in over a year and that a couple of rounds against a relatively limited fighter. He'll need to be razor sharp to avoid Golovkin, and prolonged lay offs are rarely good for fighters. I would have preferred him to have fought again before fighting Golovkin, but I guess they saw the opportunity to make the fight and took it.

Kelly Brook would be better if those massive tits didnt get in the way so much.

Re: GGG v Kell Brook
Brook had been looking to move weight anyway as he struggled at welter, he only held on in the hope of fighting Khan

Be better if it was in Sheffield, proper home crowd.

neither were moving to weight they had never fought at though either

for me a Brook win would be on a par with those

Re: GGG v Kell Brook
Odds don't really have a lot to do with it mate. it's bookies hedging their bets.

For me, What Honeyghan did was massive, Laing not so as Duran struggled over the years once he moved up.

Brook is already a proven world star, Honeyghan and Laing weren't.

Re: GGG v Kell Brook
I only wanted to see Khan get knocked out because he was so fucking hilarious when doing so.

I never like Naz but thought he was a superb showman.

Eubank Jnr I want to see get taught a lesson like his Dad - but put him up against a foreign opponent I'm all for him.

Following on from Scum and ED..

I can understand a bit why some people on here would want GGG to win (he likes West Ham) and undoubtedly he's fucking brilliant to watch, but there's definitely something very negative about a lot of British sports fans, especially boxing.

If Tyson Fury was a yank there's no way the American public and press would have as much disdain for him as ours do.

And I don't think I've ever seen a thread on here about Amir Khan which hasn't been 90% people wanting to see him battered.

Council Scum 4:20 Tue Sep 6
Re: GGG v Kell Brook
No it wouldn't as Brook is already a World Champion and rated. It would be an upset though

Eggbert Nobacon 4:17 Tue Sep 6

Babel

this would be a shock on a par with that or Laing beating Duran
